In the last of our summer series of development talks, we heard from Quintain’s COO, James Saunders and Head of Marketing Alex Harvie, on the huge transformation of Wembley Park, since the 85 acre park was purchased in 2002.
Wembley Park has already provided more than 5,000 homes, with a new retail park and transport infrastructure – providing a 12 minute journey from Baker Street. More than 1,000 more homes are currently under construction and private rental schemes (PRS) are due to provide a large share of this future housing.
The new London Designer outlet provides more than 50 shops and 20 restaurants and is the UK’s fastest growing outlet, providing a real hub for the development, alongside the iconic Wembley stadium.
After the talks, attendees were given a private tour of Wembley Park’s different development zones and community place making initiatives.
