Last week, Profile held the first in a series of Proptech Showcases at Instinctif Partners. First speaker was Savannah de Savary, who founded property portal Built-ID, which allows users to easily track all consultants involved in particular projects, after she spotted a lack of easily available data.

We then heard from Matthew Glenny about how Realla is disrupting commercial property leasing by providing a single hub for all commercial property. The site features over 90,000 properties and has provided a new paradigm for digital age marketing.

Finally Thomas Schneider, CIO of Brickvest, gave an interesting overview of how the world of property investment is becoming more sophisticated. They have just finished their first fund and aim to provide direct investment in property – basically to become the ‘Amazon’ for property investment.

All the speakers spoke about the value of PR and SEO in growing a start up company and the importance of gaining an early market share.
